Drat and double drat. I won't be able to do Stanford after all this year. Total diary miscalculation on my part So, fire up the waiting list and bring someone else on board. Hope the sun shines on us all on 30 April.

I'm afraid I am going to have to give up my space on this one as its just too far to travel for a days event. I thought it would be ok, but driving to telford last weekend killed me off! I am happy to pay for the ticket if it's already been paid for and no one else fills the gap. Sorry.

Hi All,

Being fairly new to the Club -
Is this show an all VW models show? -seems to be from what I can see
Are there any trade stands ?
Is there on site catering?
What time does the show start / finish?

The reason I ask is because its about a 150 mile trip for me so want to make sure it's worthwhile.

Definitely worthwhile Nigel.

Heaps and heaps of trade stands, loads of fantastic VW cars, shed loads of food stalls, you do need to be there fairly early though for club stand, can't remember exact time though and finishes around 4:00pm.

My favourite show of the year particularly if you like original cars too.

Does your car have to be a "show car" to get in on these events? Mine's pretty much an original '88 GT and hoping to have it back on the road asap so might give me something to aim for. Just a bit concerned it would be next to some great cars (it's not a shed though)!
