Filter near in front of carb looks clear. Accumilator doesn't feel particularly warm.

According to the Haynes manual only the early mk2s had the filter under the rear seats.

Problem has been happening all year round. Sun/Rain Warm/hot.

Chap at the garage drove it 4 times, and typically the problem didn't occur. But happened to me on the way home from the garage!
