thinking out loud

i'm thinking of wing mirrors. as in mirrors on the end of the wings instead of the doors. yes or no?

i also really want to buy this even though it's hideous, i like it

No, all you will do is make the rust come through even quicker, plus it will look like a 1970's Marina!

That wheel is horrendous, like something from Mad Max, buy the GTi Engineering one I have for sale!

i know, it is appalling, but that's why i like it. and yes, the mirrors will look very 70s, but it is a 70s car

Indeed a 70's car but one with a touch of class, keep the mirror (not a Storm I presume so only the 1) where it is, much better!

Having said that, it would probably improve the interior of a white scala? Ian ???????

It does have 2 mirrors, but they're too far back down the doors for my liking.

Mirrors on my truck are nearly 8 foot away from the drivers seat, and I manage to move them ok when I need to

just come back from my local steel fabricators. called in to see them about getting some stuff blasted. we got talking (as you do ) and ended up getting a quote for having a pair of bumpers made up in stainless, end caps and all. should i or shouldn't i?

We run those on the race Mk1 golf that I spanner on, because it ran them back in the day when it was in the Tricentrol saloons. They weren't cheap to get hold of though.
