Are some drivers blind?

to be honest what doesnt help is the police lack of interest in minor accidents like this.
at the end of the day this person drove away from the scene of an accident which in itself is a crime or at least it used to be.
but because they no longer get involved unless someone is hurt its left up to insurance which gives most people half a chance of scarpering and getting away with it or if they do get caught via reg and witnesses then it just goes through the insurance with no real consequence.
i had an old guy in a blue merc reverse into the side of my rocco a few years back and drove off, i got his reg and photos of him driving it off.
luckily there was no damage other than a scuff but i rang the police to tell them what happened and they gave me a crime number to claim on insurance and that was it!!
whats worse is a mate of mine had his wing mirror taken off by the same guy in the same car the week before and was going through insurance after having to chase him down because he didnt stop then either.
some deterrent! :ire:
