out of curiosity what would happen if you space out the standard brakes on a mk2 scirroco and fitted bigger disks?
same proccedure with spacing 256mm girling 54s to fit 280mm disks to get more leverage?

Same principle I guess. I thought you could get adaptors to fit standard calipers with 280mm discs?

i thought you needed bigger wheels to do that?
would be nice to get some tigra callipers but its slim pickings in my local scrap yard atm.

I've seen a few big brake kits about. But yeah you'd need bigger wheels to clear the callipers I'd imagine
