flashing oil pressure light

Turn the ignition on my scirocco scala with a kr engine fitted and I have no oil light on, but when i start the car the oil light starts to flash, any one had this before.

Wire on the right sensor? Wrong sensor fitted?
Not really up with Kr engines and fitment to a scirocco.

The fact that it illuminates with the engine running and not on ignition on suggests wrong wire on wrong contact or faulty sender.
The flashing light should be low pressure warning, that's why it comes on when ignition on and goes out once fired up.

What colour oil pressure senders are usually fitted to a DX engine.

White just above oil filter.
Blue on side of head.

On my 1988 DX engine Golf.
