Pins/Nuts Rear Washer

Post by Lukeh17 »

I went to get the plastic off that is in front of the rear washer, and I pulled one of the pins/nuts out and it snapped, I have a feeling they will all snap, where can we get replacements from?

Cheers

Do you mean the washer jet itself?

If so, these are available from VW/Heritage.

No, it's in the boot, where there is plastic trim and these bits keep the trim on, you need to remove the trim to get to the tank, and these pins seem to perish, but I think I have found some!!

Cheers

Is it these sort of thing?
Mk2 golf are similar but are smooth in there design, I used on my car as most of mine broke.

DO NOT BUY FROM THE LINK BELOW! you can still get them from VW for a lot cheaper than this.
I'll try and find the part numbers for you.

I'm sure I paid less than 60 pence each and then VW heritage delivery charge on top ???

I had a spare 5 mins and called my local VW dealer.
In stock at main VW warehouse for 43 pence + VAT so slightly cheaper?
I did buy mine a few years back and I ordered more than I needed to keep as spares as when ever I seem to remove a trim panel 1 or 2 always seems to break! :-)

They fit in lots of places on my cars, boot trim, side boot trim etc...
