Helps if you say mk1 or mk2 Storm... I suspect you mean mk1, in which case fibreglass or a search for decent used panels are the only options. Mk2 wings are still available from VW, but expensive - used good ones are reasonably easy to find.

these do mk1 wings but you have to tell them if you want early or late style

Will early mk1 chrome bumper wings fit a 1979 plastic bumper model.

The wings will fit, yes. Not sure about the bumpers (whether newer plastic will easily attach to early wings). The old bumpers and end caps are hard to find, even in poor condition.

You need different front indicators for early wings as later wings have a cut out for the wrap around indicator.
