Just wondered if anyone can recommend a good place for buying a few things;
big end & bottom end bearings, piston rings, oil pump.
GSF sell these, but i'm not sure I trust them.

Ferraris Piston Serivces Ltd www.fpsdistribution.com , branches all around the country and will keep good quality bearings and rings, re the oil pump try VW you might be suprised
Another option is if you have a local TPS who supply all the parts to VAG group, some will deal with the public others insist trade only ( if so find someone in the trade who has an account )
