Hi guys
There used to be a how too on here about how to use the red button on these to completely remove these but I can’t find it anymore.
Does anyone know how it’s done? It’s branded Sunhatch, Britax I believe?
Need to do something about the seal and it would be easier with the glass out.
Also does anyone know where I can get a cheap seal or have a photo or diagram of the shape and cross section. I can’t check mine as it’s taped shut.
Ta in advance.

Re: Aftermarket Glass Popup Sunroof
Both my cars have aftermarket sunroofs, One of them is leaking so I've been looking for somewhere to take it, no part numbers on the seal.
Once you undo the latch it should lift up and out. I dont trust old plastic to not crumble when I play with it, so I just unscrewed the latch.

i've not tried the Vaseline trick yet hence the need to get the glass out, mine has a red button on the catch and i know you have to do something with it but can;t remember what?

Will check them out! Been trying Surrey Sunroofs for months, but they never get back to me. Someone stuffed RTV in one of mine!
They're all a bit different, but I had one with a red catch, pressing it would allow you to split the latch so one half stays connected to the glass and one half on the roof.

Ive just got to remember to get the beast to them mate! Always something else in the way! What I wanted was simply (is it ever?) to remove outer skin of sunroof and replace with glass one, still tilt and slide but instead of metal, glass. I mean, how hard can it be? (Probably extremely and with many pitfalls!)
