Mk2 Storm in scrappers. Anyone for a project?

Post by JackPong »

Friend in Cornwall rang today after he found a dark grey/gunmetal Storm with brown leather interior at the scrapyard. Apparantly it's low mileage approx 60k

Dealer says it's too good to scrap. And has another mk2 there that he would sell as well for parts. Not sure on a price but he wants £400 for the Storm or £600 - £800 for both...

Sounds like a great opportunity, I have too much on otherwise would jump at the chance.

PM me for contact details.

I haven't seen it
I haven't seen a photo
I don't know anything else about it

But it must be worth a phone call!

Peas out

The Mk2 Storm was only ever made in blue or brown and only in 1984?

Brown car with brown leather and blue car with blue leather

It may not be a storm if it's grey but a standard car with leather interior?

Looking at Dr Dub's site, could it be that 'gunmetal' is actually the Havana Brown? It looks pretty grey in the first photo...

No, it's definitely brown and wouldn't be seen as grey.

I doubt the car in the scrapyard is a Storm - unless someone hated brown and gave it a respray.

either way a clean car posing as a storm with leather and a spare car for £800 sounds good to me.
