wing mirror dismantling

Post by big_wig_074 »

has anybody dismantled a wing mirror? I have a spare entire mirror unit, but its a different colour, and was wondering if I could swap the back cases over? if not ill have to get it sprayed I suppose, not the end of the world, but the case is the only decent bit on the old mirror and I don't want to break it unnecessarily trying to figure out how to take it apart.

They aren't designed to be dismantled, unfortunately, so repainting is probably the best idea. Make sure you use plastic primer.
