Bumper trim strips

Post by Nate »

How do you remove them? I've got some tidy black bumpers on the car, but the trim strips are missing. I've also got a less tidy red pair that still have them fitted, so want to swap them across

Take out the staples on the inside and then nock it out from the inside, once it is out a bit you can pull it out on the outside.

Replace with some lubricant like dish soap or something like that, no oil or grease.

Does that mean I need to take the bumper skin off the metal support?

No need for that but you have to take it of the car.
