Re: 1982 1.5 CL Auto
I'm glad I take loads of photos, great for comparison and to remind me how much I've got done when things seem to be going slow.

Re: 1982 1.5 CL Auto
Ordered some mats the other day, bit too light but anything is better than the rubber mats in there at the minute.

Rears are a bit big, but I should be able to make them fit. (Not putting them in until the carpets and seats have had a proper wet vac)

Re: 1982 1.5 CL Auto
Thought I'd fit the metal rear number plate that's been sitting in the garage since last year, I wanted to get rid of the plastic backing between the rear lights.
Came off easy enough but then I saw this
Not rusted through but a nasty little scab

Re: 1982 1.5 CL Auto
The rear lights are so well stuck in and I don't have time for a proper strip down at the minute so I did a running repair on it.

Didn't come out too bad, by the time I've got the rest of the panel polished and the numberplate stuck on I don't think you'll really notice it.

May not matter to a lot of people but it's all in the detail for me
Once the tailgate is sorted, badges removed and new back box, it should be a good looking rear end!

Where did you order your mats from?

Fronts aren't a perfect shape and rears are too big, but they were cheap and they'll do for now.
