Cheers! Yes they are fixed.

It has been a busy week for Arun, Glyn and I as the deadline to going for paint loomed. First off Arun got most of the fab work done for the front engine mount so we can keep grinders and welders away from a freshly painted shell.!!

Second on the list was welding and securing the battery box I had made. Arun made sure it was going no where!

I had issues with the driver notch not doing its job so I cut more away and Glyn did a weld!

Alot of the dutch boys delete the wing top bolts on Golfs. It is hard to do with the design of the scirocco wings so we came up with the idea to make the old wing topper washers into captive bolts. It gives a similar effect with a factory nod which what this car is about. Glyn done good!

Aruns Final task was to mount my compressor and tank. Affter abit of head scratching between us we came up with this! (The cable tie is not the final mounting solution)

And it all fits nicely behind the factory card!

After a hectic few weeks of metal dust and epoxy mastic I dropped it off with Jon today! 4 years in the making! Today is a good day! :D

Getting the smooth look.... even smoothed out the fitting/hole for the interior light.

And my custom airride struts arrived from Jamie at Series 1 Suspension. Fingers crossed it should not be far off laying sills at full drop.

Looks good, even the inside of the roof looks shiny, are you fitting a headliner?

Keep the updates coming.
