Says in the advert he never intended to sell it then, in the same sentence that it was a long term investment.
Which one is it?
Either way, it's hilarious.

It'll be interesting to see whether or not it sells.

It looks to be a pretty clean car, but you can never tell from photo's. Has anyone seen it in the flesh (metal)? £6-7k seems a low estimate
if indeed it is as good as he describes? I'm guessing it will go for £7-8k ? Wager anyone?

I was referring to Sean's estimate of £6-7k
Like you say, it will be interesting to see what it sells for.

I see in the meantime that this (admittedly very clean) GLS has gone up in price by a grand

I always thought you DROPPED your price if it wasn't selling

Anybody at the NEC yesterday? Do you know what the "19k MK1 GTI" reached at auction?

Silverstone Auctions results list says "regretfully withdrawn."GIUGIARO wrote:Anybody at the NEC yesterday? Do you know what the "19k MK1 GTI" reached at auction?
Either it sold privately (to a lunatic) or it's still out there.
