Hey guys, im new to the scirocco scene, ive had mini's before this but buying my first one this weekend. this is a two birds thing as i thought i'd introduce myself and also ask if anyone knew what security feature(imobilizer/alarm) came as standard on a H-reg 1990 GT if any?
Cheers

Re: Newbie
when i was insuring the scala i used to put "manufacturer's standard security" - it's not lying, but does kinda imply that there is better security than there iscaptainwow15 wrote:cheers, didn't think so, was just checking as trying to sort out insurance

Re: Newbie
I have a 1994 Sprite with a fiar few modifications and it's great i just need something a bit bigger(not much) for uni as im always driving with 3 friends in the car and we couldn't quite fit comfortably in the mini. Still keeping the mini but tidying her up and using her for a sunday blaster, dropping a bored out 1380 in and stuff.
My rocco is going to be the daily drive but i expect i'll have lots of fun and adventures in her too.
Insurance wise it wasn't actually that much difference so i didn't bother, just need to pick her up now :D
