bonnet release
has anyone relocated the bonnet release lever from the passenger side to the drivers side?

Should not be any problem, cable runs through the bulk panel on the left to the rightside under the bonnet.
Just turn all the parts around, lever could be the most difficult but the rest is an easy turn around.
If needed any parts let me know, have plenty of them.

Well, Golf 2 parts are easier to come by, so go to a scrappy, take one out and see if you can use it.james butler wrote:thankyou joost

I open the passengers door and pull the bonnet leaver from there, no problems with banging head on a mirror.
