Just driven my new project home.
The single wiper is not sweeping all the way over the screen, and sweeps a different amount each time. Is this a problem with the wiper motor, or just bushes in the mechanism?
Any suggestions on sourcing parts to fix?
Not had a Scirocco for 15 years, so might have a lot of newbie questions, sorry!

Re: Mk2 single wiper help
Is it an original single-wiper car ('82/'83) or modified?
EDIT -
Just seen that it's the Y-plate GTI from Marshall.
The single wiper was never reconfigured by VW for RHD. It parks flat on the passenger side, but doesn't clear completely on the driver's side (approx 30 degree angle).
Here's what it should look like when parked:

I suspect either your spindle is worn, causing the wiper to slip, or the motor or relay could cause odd parking of the wiper. Motors are quite hard to find.

The spindle is worn, almost completely smooth! Temp fixed with spray glue and tightening it up really tight! ;)

Spindles can be bought as a part, maybe only as an M8 size now but further there is no difference.
Maybe I have a full mechanism without the motor but not sure though.
