High beam works when headlights are on and stalk is "clicked" back but not when "flashed". Does this suggest a dodgy stalk switch?

Re: Hi beam flash
not sure what you mean but usually with the headlights on if you pull the stalk towards you once so it clicks turns main beams on and if you pull it again till it clicks turns them off.
I dont mind project cars but I HATE SANDING!!!

Re: Hi beam flash
They should flash without having to click them back, have a look at the stork contact as it's surprising how much dirt and fluff gets behind there so a clean may help.

The stork may be your problem, you should have a stalk fitted... sorry, couldn't resist! :)

A stork has always worked for me, I poke the bird out the window and get him to flash!marcus wrote:The stork may be your problem, you should have a stalk fitted... sorry, couldn't resist! :)

Crud on the contact ring ,oh err missus titter ye not.
Actually check as mentioned previously that you don't just need to get the contact cleaner out.
