All UK Cars had them except for the 82 GL - that had the fog lamps above the bumper in the same position as the driving lamps most models came with.

Even my 82 CL had them even with its single light set up.

EDIT - it looks like my CL was unusual in having them, brochure says not stanard, check later years for specific specs.

That is a quality resource!! Ive a couple of brochures, but think 92 and 88/89 so don't have my 91 scala spec. The 91 brochure scala doesn't have the fogs funnily enough, but any i've seen generally did. Think they look better with them 8-)

The under bumper fog lights I have, measure 170mm x 85mm.
Numbers on the lens on one read - 8336 R19 in the middle, above the word Hella; 304-118081 on the bottom left (as you look from the front).
There is no part number on the outside of the black casing. When you take the lens and the reflector (they are glued together) out, there is a metal bracket inside with the word Hella and TN19 and TN8 stamped into it. The VW/Audi part number label inside has Hella, the numbers 533 941 701 and 1ND 003 690-54 and the bulb designation H3.
On another, the VW/Audi part label has Hella, the numbers 321 941 701E and 1ND 003 090-49, and the bulb designation Lampe H3.
