GTI 4 small headlights

Post by ianaudia4 »

I managed to source a set of these today, need a good clean up and paint.
Anyway, I have cleaned and painted one side, what I need is a strange black plastic screw thingy and an adjuster.
I have a full set of Euro headlight adjusters and screws etc, all VAG, but they are different.

Can anyone shed any light, advise where to get the said items?

I have taken some pictures but as people know I am crap with computers and only know how to send using outlook!

Thanks in anticipation :thankyou:

I got adjusters for these from the dealers about a year ago, worth a shot?

I will get them a go today. I have seen some on US Ebay, but the seller says he/she doesn't ship outside the US, I have sent him a nice begging message!

Cheers Alex

I have just been to Benfield VW in Newcastle, they didn't have any in stock but hey ho, that's nothing new!!!
What they have done though is ordered my the whole stock of the adjusters, which is 4 in the whole country, and 4 of the black plastic screws.
I had the other frame sand blasted today, a damn sight easier than a wire brush and emery cloth! So will paint that later and wait for the adjusters to come next week.
Then the fun and games start, trying to line up correctly so I can see where I'm going and not doing impressions of landing lights :!:

If for some reason you don't get them I do have a set for one side I am not sure if they are genuine vw parts but they do fit.
