Bolt on filters

Post by thatslottonuts »

I have replaced my pierburg with a Weber carb, However. I want to get rid of the big plastic filter housing and put on a bolt on filter. What reccomendations do you guys have? I have been told that the K&N bolt on will not fit as its to high.

Cheers!
Gary

There is a K&N that fits, I ran one for ages. Got it in the garage somewhere if you want a part number/

Hey bud, this is the filter I ran, its propper low so you can fit a strut brace too even if you have a weber fitted.

Its not for a VW so you will have to make the hole bigger, but I ran it for a year no problems :good:
