Hello everyone,

I'm Liz and I'm a massive petrol head owning several cars and motorbikes. I have a mk2 Scirocco gt2 of which is my longest owned car of 7years. It has unfortunately been off the road for the past 3 years and I'm in the process of fixing it up. It wont be a speedy process due to attempting to build a 400-500bhp astra also :-( and fixing up my fireblade.

Anyway looking forward to meeting everyone on the forum :-)

Hi
I started nosing around here as we have a mk3 R, but I forgot how much I loved my old Mk2 storm many years ago. Now I'm after a mk2 (The better half gets the R most days!)

I kind of feel a bit guilty, so a confession: I owned a brown Storm back in the late 90's. Was a lovely car, in nice condition, 90k on the clock, but I blew the engine on the M4 (put a hole between cylinders 2 and 3), and being an impetuous 20 year old I scrapped it :(

Hey,
I'm Tom and been a long to admirer of Mk1 Scirocco's. Finally was able to purchase my first Rocco and that being a MK1 Storm this week. Started to work on it already and needs some work but the basis of it is solid. I'm sure I'll be leaning on a few people here for advice.

Thanks Tom

Welcome Tom - would be good to know 'which' car it is - it's likely to be known by someone on here is this small world.
