Cup holders

Post by MattRocco »

Hey guys I was wondering if there was any cup holders availed for 87 gtx? Either from factory or if one would fit from a golf or other model someone may have fitted before?

Come from a polo with 2 cup holders and I took them for granted and have now realised how much I used them! Would ideally like something more OEM before I have to get one of the ugly ebay specials that hang off he dash

Cheers for any info!

I cut out the ashtray and blanking plate and fitted the twin cup holders, they were a 'din' fitting and think they were from a Polo, easy fitting and worked perfect

Thanks eefy, nice look to it! Unfortunately I have VDO's taking the space there. Will have a look into different places and units so what I can do

I've been contemplating using a saab 9-5 one which is vertically mounted. The top part of the holder spins through 90 degrees as it opens and had thought it might be possible to to the side of the centre console. I've not looked at them properly to see if one really could be fitted somewhere though.
