Rear lights
What model mk2's (if any) have smooth rear light clusters without the grooves?

Re: Rear lights
I don't think any did. But you can carefully sand the light clusters to remove the ridges and then use a gradually finer sandpapers to remove sanding marks followed by really fine wet and dry and then t-cut to polish them back up. If you take your time you can get a really good smooth finish like this but it's a lot of work.
I might be making it up but I'm sure I had seen someone on here had done it. May well have been somewhere else though.
Ben.

Re: Rear lights
Yeah I have smoothed off other lights before, I was just hoping that one of the models already had them. Cheers anyway.

Re: Rear lights
Here is a picture of mine, done them about two years ago.

Take a rough file and file the ridges of, than sand them down to even and then a bit smoother every time, then get wet paper to smoothen even more and finaly take a polisher and make them al shiny and smooth again.
