So..
I jave a friend who owns a bodyshop who has booked a trade stand at cumbria vag show. And as a friend the option was there if I do all the prep work and stripping etc he wouldspray and advise me... I have zero bodywork lnowlege but the advise has been spot on and I am nearing completion hopefully finished on tuesday/wednesday!

Looks like a top class job. No doubt we will see more pictures when it's finished and also from Cumbria VAG as there will probably be a few members there.

Looks very good and a great job we are know on our fourth mk 2 and we have know got a alpine white as these are easer to get touched up as the metallic models as the paint is over ten years old you have to paint the whole car to get it to match and we have had two metallic models but funny enough our first model was the same colour so gone back to original Scala i model.Is the colour Alpine white ?
G Beats.Been into MK 2 V.W Sciroccos since 98.Now on my fourth MK 2 Scirocco. R.I.P two MK 2 Scala DX Engine's.Sold GT 2. No longer have a mk 2 v.w Scirocco as it was stolen back in February 2020 .Or another one know have a 1980s BMW.
No its not alpine white... I searched around for a white that would look whiter than any it parks next to! Its not a vw colour, its japanese lol I know people will hate me for that
