Hello admin,
Thanks for this site and your hard work I’ve only been using it for a short while and I’ve found lots of useful information and clues so that’s great.

This may be a silly question but I would would like to understand the etiquette a bit more. For example: if I have a specific question say about using unleaded or super unleaded, should i simply create a new topic and post the question. I do of course search for some posts on that topic but if I can’t find any should I create a new topic or add a question to some thread that’s vaguely related?

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the GT2 - with central locking, I'm guessing a late one.

Others may wish to add (and I'm not an admin!), but I think generally on forums, it's considered better to start a new topic unless it's a direct follow up to a previous thread, eg if you have some more information to add or you want to refer back to what was posted previously in that forum. The exception might be those more light hearted chatty type topics that you will occasionally come across. Oh, and it's quite handy if you can post in the most specific topic section, eg the appropriate section under "Technical and Troubleshooting" if it's related to a technical issue, rather than in one of the sections under "General Discussion".

Adding more info in your signature can also help, what engine, carb or fuel injection etc can also save time when looking for answers.
