Just recently the clutch has developed a kind of click/notch at the top of the clutch travel when releasing.
Bulkhead is fine, cable is good, no gears crunch and there are not visible obstructions.
I'm leaning towards the release bearing. Any ideas?

First thing I would do is take the clutch cable off the gearbox end and drip feed wd40 into the cable working the cable as you go. Put it back on the gearbox and try it. If this fixes the problem then replace the cable asap
