Outside Temp Sensor

While routing around in the engine bay earlier today i seem to have found what looks like an outside temp sensor??

It was just tucked out the way not attached to anything. Does anyone know if i am right and it is an outside temp sensor

and if i am where should it be and where does it tell you lol?

don't the ones with MFA have outside temp on the dash?

alternatively, i've you've got the wrong engine fitted, it might be from that?

Nah its the original engine, but it does have MFA therefore must be from that, anyone know where it should be mounted though?

In the front right hand side of the bumper. If you unbolt your front bumper and slide out you will see where it fits.
