Does anyone know if the front and back struts and springs from a mk1 golf cabby will fit a mk2 scirocco?

Same suspension on Mk1 golf, Mk1 golf cabriolet, Mk1 Scirocco fitted to the Mk2 Scirocco
It will bolt straight on but if the suspension is 2nd hand it might be worth fitting some new strut top mounts before fitting (you will need spring compressors to take the springs off)
Top mounts like this, they can also be bought from ebay but get the Febi ones.

yep. as I understand it, you want LATE cabrio (if the manufacturer actually does the different rates). They're the heaviest, with all the extra steel to reinforce the roof-less car, and the clipper bodykit. It's those that are comparable to the bodykitted mk2 'rocco.
