Yea it must be electrical my issue as there is nothing else really it can be.

have i missed something? i thought your concern was mayo in the rocker cover. don't see how that could be electrical?!

Loss of power in 5th going up hills etc. Thinking it might be the coil of ignition amplifier or wiring. Im putting the emulsification down to stop start driving as every other symptom for head gasket failure isn't present.

Just re-read the post and there is mention of fuel pump relay...
I was thinking over fueling or timing?
Which fuel are you using normal unleaded or super unleaded?

Super Unleaded. There is smell of petrol around the car and the fuel lines etc are abit crusty.

check for damp bits on the filler neck, replace crusty fuel lines, open top of tank and check for rust/water in the bottom and take remedial action as required. have a search on the forum, loads of talk on this subject already
