Well, nearly there! I've been a busy boy this weekend putting it back together, only thing left is the body kit to go on, and going to start that tomorrow night

here's some pictures from today, not the best quality as I don't have a flash, but hey ho...

Mirror back on

Image

Drivers door glass in

Image

New badge on the boot

Image

Rear glass in and crap sticker from heritage on, recommend you never get these, way to short!

Image

same for the other side

Image

Up off the floor so I can get the kit on

Image

got a bit trigger happy with the under seal on the new door skin, not wanting that bill again!

Image

And lastly the doors built back up again :)

Image

that's all for now, if i make progress tomorrow ill try my best to get pictures:)

looking good man! what's been done? full respray?

Apparently the b-pillar stickers are shorter because the need to be stretched when you put them on.. Don't know if this is the case though. I bought the same trims but I didn't end up using them.

Cheers! Yeah full respray, I just wish the guy who painted it, painted the b pillars aswell so I could ditch the stickers, wounder why they don't just make it that 3 mm longer! Anyway later in the year I will be replacing them, tried before work today to get the wheels on but they are hitting the coil overs :(, so need longer wheel bolts first then will try again with more spacers, then knowing my luck they will stick out too far and hit the arch, lets hope not, I'll update with more pictures of what I get done tonight :)

Is the camber right? You might find if it is too far off the wheels will hit the coilovers but when adjusted correctly they will clear.

Ben.

Wheels are vertical, tiniest bit but not enough for it to be solid against the spring :(

Well put the front parts on, then was having an overall check with the inspection lamp for fit mint, and it's exactly where it should be, first time, thinking this could be easyer than I thought! Was away to get the glue ready, then looked at the top lip on the arch on the kit, and there's not enough paint on them! RAGE! so I've took them all off in the early hours of this morning, they are getting collected today and returned tommorow, don't properly this time! It was clear with more light how bad it was, and it's on a very visible part of the car, if your not going to do a job right, don't do it at all! It was clear they painted them upside down because the inner lip that goes in the arch had a perfect finish to it, So that's now holding me up! So I'll get more pictures and give an update when I've got them all back on and in place, tonight plan is to service the engine as I've got nothing else I can do in the meantime!

Scirocco looks good :good:

Does the gate behind the cars have the house owners names on, Craig and Allan :-D
Is that not from a band in the 70's
