just wondering when was the last time someone saw a set off mk1 chrome bumpers for sale?

and any idea what price they went for?

i remember talk on vwvortex that they saw a set go for 685 euros on ebay.de, they were talking here..

I believe trimsport.co.uk are going to be making carbon fiber bumpers very soon.

Has any1 tried getting them made? Ino a guy who could shuurely fold sheet metal and then get it chromed? Or is it more complicated than that?

they're not quite straight. there is a slight curve to them. the engineering place at the end of my road said they'd be able to make up stainless ones for around £600. i just haven't got the money at the moment

There was a NOS set for sale in Germany on facebook a couple of weeks ago, the guy wanted €1000 for them...
