heater element

Post by pasenah »

Not sure if this should be in the carb section.

I can't see where the heater element, off the pierburg, fits onto the Weber. I don't see any brass points on the Weber for the heater to contact.

Anyone help, picture would be great?

Cheers

Don't worry, I think I've sorted it after finding a pic online. Looks like it fits to the front of the carb, onto a flat square part that sticks out slightly. I have had to use a self tapper to screw into the carb to create a thread but seems ok.

You shouldn't have to create a thread. There is a bracket that fits on the front of the alloy adapter, the heater element attaches to this and then just presses against the front of the carb.

Ben.

I think I must be missing the adaptor. It seems to be holding in place with the self tapper so I'll see how it does. Hopefully it won't work loose.
