hi upgrade help

hi upgrade help

hi im thinking of upgrading, to kr, 9a or preferably abf im needing help and info i want to use the 16 v head but am unsure of blocking the injector holes how easy is it?. i also want to run it on carbs 40z or 45z or just the 32/34. how do i wire it up do i just use the scirocco sensors in the 16v block? any info would be great as i want to get the engine soon and get the work done over xmas an any more info on the topic would be great such as fuel pumps cams geardoxes and shafts etc etc

if you are using the kr or abf then there are no injector holes to block up as the injectors sit in the inlet manifold not in the head like the 8 valves

that would be great but are you sure? abf from a mk3 golf gti im sure ive replaced a head but i cannot remember if it was set up like that or not. im looking to use the 16v block and head tho. this could possibly be great news for me lol

Ports are in the manifold on the valvers,
