I'm just curious, pondering over engine choice for the 'rocco.

Has anyone fitted or seen fitted a non vag engine to a Scirocco?

Not a 'rocco but just spotted this on CGTI. Redtop in a Mk1 Golf

I'm thinking a Ford Duratec, 2.0l or 2.3l..all alloy engine..Nice and light weight.
