Rear anti roll bar clamp

My mk2 just failed on this being cracked and i cant seem to find anywhere that supplies them can anyone help?

The Rear Clamp is undoubtedly the worst job I've ever tackled.

^^ will agree with that.
saw on here ( possibly ) that someone had a homebrew pair using bolts instead of that silly clip. definitely following their lead if I have to re-fit.

Stainless mk1 golf ones from crazy shifts

to refit, get a pair of mole grips, replace the adjuster knob thing with a bolt. Clamp them up as well as you can, then tighten the bolt to pinch them up the last little bit. A touch of silicone lube (from a plumbers merchant) under the clamp will help and not affect the rubber. Once its tight enuf to get the clip on, undo the moles then tap the clip home with a small hammer, then bend the tab over to hold it. Once you work out how to do it, it isn't that bad a job. The 2nd one will go on loads easier

As a last restort could you not take the anti roll bar off? Don't know if it would then pass the MOT as its already failed on it but if you needed the car get it through the MOT then replace the anti roll bar with new clips when you find them.

I cut up a door hinge and a bolt to make a clamp. was rubbish mole grips would have definitely been a better idea...

not 100%, but i think a missing anti roll bar is now a fail
