Saw a nice Red Mk2 on the M6 (heading southbound) by St Helens. I was in my Black one heading north bound, about 2pm yesterday (saturday).

Seen 2 Mk3s, one silver, one white on M6 and Bristol Road B'ham as well.

Today I spotted a Red Gt2 I think running white Porsche rims, a grey Gt with big 5 spoke and a white scala with black alloys, also 5 million air cooled dubs.

Must have missed you, mate! Sorry!

3 spots within 24 hours here (all mk2s... YESSSS!) - yesterday evening my mate spotted a white GTII with Scala wheels parked on Upper Chorlton Road in Whalley Range, then I spotted a red Scala on Shaun Of The Dead parked outside Shaun's neighbour's! And then this morning I got flashed by a white G reg, again on Upper Chorlton Road as I was turning into my street - was it the same car my mate had seen? Was it someone on here?

I also frequently spot mk3s but I never bother posting as the drivers don't even know what a proper Scirocco is! Never even get a nod. Maybe because...

Thought that the Corrado was more of a Mk 3 'Rocco - had similar trim etc.
Sorry - I'm a bit jealous!!?
But then, I'm an old fart!!
 :chortle:
...I'm sure they'd all recognise a goof! I totally agree, Kin. But yeah, maybe it's jealousy :chortle:

Hello! Was it me parked on upper chorlton road? Mines a white GT2 on BBS wheels...

And if you drive the Red GT2 with black alloys it was me who flashed you on the J reg this morning!

Nice to see a few dotted about!

Good Morning Gents.

Certainly was me with the black alloys. Morning! (thought it was G reg - sorry)

Is the Shaun Of The Dead red Scala common knowledge, or am I the first to notice? It was actually my girlfriend that spotted it if I'm honest.

I'd not realised it was Shaun of the Dead! ha. I've been seeing you about quite a bit as I live in Chorlton, but I was always in my old car (306) and I'd just look like a prat going round flashing randon MK2's!

mk.3s appear to be getting more common. I've seen a blue and a silver base model, and a black GT recently.
