I'm just curious to see if anyone has done the bike carbs conversion on the old DX/8v engine. I've seen plenty on 16v (and had one myself).
If anyone knows of a guide/thread please link me.

Re: Bike carbs-8V engine
As it happens, I have been trawling through this recently. A lot of it applies to 16v but there are some guys doing it on 8v engines too.

Re: Bike carbs-8V engine
Hardest thing seems to be getting a decent manifold cheap enough.
+ the main reason for 16 valve is so you don't end up with the carbs sitting over the exhaust and you will get more hp from a 16 v in the first place. But there's no real reason why you can't on an 8 v
