Been a busy few weeks for my mk2. you may remember it used to look like this;
But after a few evenings work on the body, and a few weeks playing with the engine, this is how she now stands :)

Its been 12 yers since I last owned a Scirocco, here is my new (old) GTX. It has been on this forum a few times already!
It runs quite well although Im collecting bits for a big service. The body is nice and solid apart from a couple of stone chips where the paint has started to blow out around them and it'll be getting a bulkhead plate for the clutch cable just in case!
The engine bay could do with a tidy up too

Not quite the look I'm after but a trip to Ant's in a couple of weeks for a couple of arches and a shiny new coat should put eeyore back as good as new.

A little trip to Knebworth House car show yesterday plenty of cars there but only 2 Sciroccos a MK1 & ours.....
