Boot light

Post by Radorocco »

Hi

I intend to re-instate the boot light in my MK2 shortly.

The switch in the hatch opening is still there with one wire (looks like black or brown/white) disappearing forwards behind the inner wing.

I've had a look at the Haynes wiring diagram but its not tremendously clear (to me at least - Triumph wirng diagrams are much simpler :P ) which other wires should be connected and to/from where!

If anyone could clarify for me I'd be much obliged.

Thanks

Jeff

There should be a brown/white which is the switched earth and a +ve feed that iirc should be black.

If you can't find it, just run another +ve feed from something else near by like the rear lights.
