Yet to start on the chassis until I have the Audi out of the way - its all but stripped of the parts I want to flog an then we can crack on with the chassis building!
I think by next summer I should have something hopefully rolling..

Well things have been slow with the White lady...
Audi donor has gone as has the engine!

different engine again to be added but this will be at a later date as I am undecided on big or small block V8!

Car should be in the workshop within the next couple of weeks and I will post up progress pictures. First up will be bracing the car ready for the plasma cutter to take the floor out piece by piece.

Got myself some seats for the car and a set of rear fenderwells for the back wheels!

Car is in and in the process of being cleared out and emptied of everything not needed! Going to be left hand drive so will be on the look out for a left hand dash to take a mould from! She is looking tired but believe me she will be awesome when done as I do like a pretty motor 8-)

Let the Prostreet White Lady game begin!

So last night I managed to prep the car for cutting.. windows out, measurements taken for bracing, underseal and soundproofing path cleared for the plasma cutter and away I went!
Its a start and tomorrow night I should be without a floor pan! No going back and building the dream!

So last night a bit more work was carried out on the car..
More cutting and I am amazed at the weight of the metal removed! Next up is the back half and the tubs then the front end cant be chopped off! Loads to do but enjoying it and I know the real expense comes when I have to build it!
Flintstones special!

I think it is fair to say that I could not appreciate how much metal there is in the chassis! the car is going to be so light i could lift it and walk about! Exciting for racing purposes i might add! :pilot:

More done to the rocco the other night.. bulk of rear end now cut out but still have the inner skins to remove and also the tidying up the edges. Still amazed at the amount of weight gone from the car already!

not a lot Mark, when i chop the front off and the firewall is completely removed all i will have is the doors, rear quarters, roof, boot!
Front end will be fibreglass and the body will be mounted to the new tube chassis. All inner skins taken out too! :-o
