Come and gone, and this time not having taken part in the Run (which once again took the participants through Kenilworth and Leamington on a busy Sunday, it also took the cars through Coventry itself, which I understand was sectioned off from normal traffic (finally!!! That´s how to do a run of classic and historic cars), and indeed some participants returned to the Stoneleigh site as soon as they realised that leaving Coventry they had to mix in with the usual daily bangers oblivious to all those classic and historic and very valuable cars) there was much more time to actually spend on the site itself. Looking at cars, talking with owners, watching some interesting machinery both new and old, and just letting the day go by, we soon realised that the day was actually over, and we hadn´t seen everything yet!
Excellent 2 days, especially Sunday, greatly helped by the excellent weather, it was well and truly packed with cars and people.
