Education required in Wrexham,N/Wales

Post by alib »

Hi folks, after many year stood its time to finish the 91 GTII. Followed posts for a while now and you mostly seem to love these cars, so its time to ask for help. Taken ages to put out a For Sale post (up as of today-and pics have crashed sorry) to help pay for your time if anyone is in the local and has time to spare, and parts. Tooooo soft to let go. Just skint.
Based in Wrexham, N/Wales. Down the road from Chester.
Basically PC and mechanically illiterate. So far the motor has stood for over 10 years( 68k ) with the front running gear removed. I have replaced this plus missing core plug, replaced all relative seals, rota n dissy cap/arm and leads . I remember firing her up 4 years age and now nothing, maybe this is the fault.
Pumps fuel out of can no probs, haven't had time or weather to drop tank and lines. may have leads wrong way round and happy about re-aligning of timing mark's,but could be out as rooky.
Oil warning light flashing, haven't checked level but no leaks.

So if you have the time and are near we could come to an arrangement to include home cooking. Thanks in advance and for looking.

How old is the petrol in the tank? Petrol goes off after about 1 year.

The ignition booster should be on the passenger side of the car under the rain tray it will have a multi plug going to it
