scirocco turbo

Post by corradostorm »

Here we are then, 4 months after bringing her home for the ebay sale, ( that i decided not to do), fell in love again.

put her in for mot and failed on rust in the rear arches, so have had the suspension off the back, new tank powder coated and sub frame, new brake pipes, tyres all round and have got stuck on the straps around the subframe to anti roll bar, no one provides them, so being made! hope they work.

now going to give her a service including new belts etc,
will promise some pics up soon (including the bad ones) and hopefully everyone will recognise her back on the road.

so after 13 years of ownership (last tax disc, was 2006)! oops and all that time sat outside, shes good and will rejoin the family.

got to strip out the interior and clean the floor make sure there is no water damage on that, and strip out the dashboard, refit the new mirror(it collapsed on drive home from sun damage) thanks to the guys that supplied me bits.
Cheers chris

These are pretty awesome! They bolted straight on. So so much easier.
