Urgent - Which fuse controls the radio and blower motor?

Post by Beddo88 »

Hi All

Driving to work this morning, and my blower motor stopped working, I noticed a minute later (whilst trying to fix it) that the radio had also turned off. neither will turn on now, hoping it's the fuse. Can someone point me in the direction of which one it is? I've got the fuse box list, but its all in german :(

Cheers
Dan

PS. 6 hour drive back home tonight, so would REALLY appreciate having a radio :)

According to the Bentley -

3 for stereo, cigar lighter and clock.
14 for blower motor.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Checked the fuses, and the blower motor had gone. Put a new fuse in, and the radio now works OK (I will explain shortly) and the blower it appears has ceased to be. Appearing in the wanted section soon...

From memory, there wasn't a switched live when I put the new stereo in, so I piggy backed one onto a switched cable I found at the back of the radio. Cheeky and very not ideal, but works!

All sorted now anyway, I have my radio back which is perfect for the long drive!

Cheers
Dan
