battery

hello i need a new battery for my 1988 1.8 gt carb which is the right one
is it the 063 battery with 45 amp
or the 065 battery with 60 amp i think in the halfords book it says the 065 but when i type scirocco 1.8 in fleabay it shows 063 bit confused any help would be great before i part with my cash

Unless you have a Halfords trade card get a battery from GSF or Euro Car Parts.
063 is the one!

I use a 063 battery in my DX engine golf of a few years now with no problem, also use one in the scirocco.

thanks i have ordered one from eurocarparts 063 code collect this morning 3 year guarantee so should be fine
