opinion on value

Post by Viv Care »

I have inherited this 1978 scirocco which has done 24,000 miles, kept in a carpeted garage and loveingly cared for. It is in very good condition and goes like a dream. Does anyone have any idea what it may be worth?

On recent evidence I would suggest anywhere between £2000-£4000 depending on MoT status and any rust or problems.

Do get in touch if you want to sell :hi:

You're a lucky....... :x

OMG :shocking: Inherited? :good: Lucky person!

It´ll hopefully find a very good home. Would myself have taken it, IF I had the space :crying:

hi Viv, nice car, we have one the same! unfortunately value is related to desireability and although i have had many people say they would love to own ours we have never had a serious bid over 2k(64k, FSH and show winner at UD),though we have it insured for 3k and i would suggest you insure yours for around 4k as you won't be able to repair or replace it should anything serious happen to it. all said though if you are trying to sell it then i would start at 3.5k and see what gets offered,we have seen a couple of showroom spec mk1s (one with 6k on) go for around 4.5k in recent years and a famously clean storm go for 5k

our car...

 Wow!!!!!!!!!!

Don't sell it, keep it , drive it and turn heads.........fantastic. What a result, wish some one would do that to me, better than , well maybe not, but comes close!

Regards

Mikeki

Value...got to be at least £3k and possibly £3,500. A blue V reg auto with 8,000 miles on the clock is supoosed to have sold on e-bay last year at around £4,300, this looks just as good and if anything is a nicer colour. :bye:

Mad as a badger...and getting worse!! Much worse! This is not looking good is it ! Is there a cure?

Any more news on this fine vehicle? I would love to see it at an upcoming show. :groove:

It would be really cool if it were the very Scirocco in this ad.
