HI,
Wondered if any one has any experience of an active mini-sub like this, for example http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-KSC-SW0 ... 489&sr=8-1
Seems like a good option without faffing about with 6x9 or door pods.
Cheers
Jeff

Re: Active sub
I'd be really interested to see how it fairs but I'd be concerned that it'd ever fit under the seats. They are lower than Jordan's morals.

Indeed!!
I've just swapped a front seat and there was barely room under there for a lost pound coin.
I was think about sticking it inthe boot somewhere
Cheers

Re: Active sub
No experience, but did toy with the idea, so read lots of reviews/missed a lot on ebay etc(!)
The upshot seems to be that they'll add some bass to a standard-ish system, but won't feel as low, and certainly won't play as loud as a conventional sub in a box.
I think soundproofing would be the place to start if mounting in the boot of a 'rocco, so it's not working as hard.
I've fitted one of these: (black, not pink - that was just a quick search!!!)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IN-PHASE-XTP- ... 5d38dee81a
to the mk2, and am VERY happy with it. Overall dimensions are small, and it sounds excellent. Got mine 2nd hand for £35. ... I know it's not as small as you're looking at, but a 'rocco boot's huge, and these are tiny compared to a conventional 10" or 12"... Just a thought.
